Introduction

This is my portfolio about the subject Learning and Development. This area talks about both learning, which is the action of acquiring or modifying, knowledge, behaviors, skills, values, or preferences and may involve synthesizing different types of information; and development which are the biological, psychological and emotional changes that occur in human beings between birth and the end of adolescence, as the individual progresses from dependency to increasing autonomy. So the aim of this portfolio is to sum up the different areas and thematic blocks that we have been working in during this course and to create a tool for us as future teachers.

I think this project can be useful for us because it wants to go further than just a recompilation of theoretical concepts and its explanations, what is wanted us to do is to found deeper, to start creating a teacher mentality, and start reasoning critically as that. So what we need to try is to adapt those concepts to our previous knowledge and to our experiences with kids, and achieve a final work full of ideas, explanations and little stories.

This portfolio can be great also for us in our future profession, because as we all know a person do not become teacher just one day suddenly, but by little steps, we are going to try to create here a guideline for ourselves, to know how to deal with certain aspects or just have a tool that, maybe someday, will help us when we need a little help in an specific aspect.
